Thanks Li! Perspective rulers make it a bit easier, but populating a scene and making it feel lived-in is always the hardest part RIP

Multi-desk!

A desk on the first floor for writing and stuff, back towards the doorish. A lot of pretty things to wow people with how important and scholarly he is...

A couch and a bench? Maybe the bench doubles as blanket storage, that's what I've always seen in cushioned benches like that.

If you're lucky, he invites you upstairs! To his interviewing/teaching desk? And if you're pretty, you might even get to take a seat at his low table for tea or the like.

Is that a kitchen area in the bottom-left of the establishing shot?

One can never have too many desks. Just think of all the writing you can do!

The countertop in the bottom-left is actually a workbench, but it's a bit hard to tell from this angle haha :)

That's not an office, it's most of a house
Amazing detail, thank you so much for it
I started appreciating a half ahour ago and just pulled myself away long enough to post this now
Maybe I'll be able to stop appreciating it long enough to write something else this afternoon...maybe.

I also appreciate the wonderful mouseover texts, they're as good as the comic :)

Your praise is very kind, but don't feel like you have to limit yourself. We both know the hover text is carrying this comic along.

"Not that we've noticed... although it's hard to tell; it pretty much always looks like this so we're only mostly sure there was even a break-in."
